About Me
Art has been the constant thread running through my life for as long as I can remember. From a very young age, I knew creativity would never be something I kept on the sidelines as a hobby. I wanted to build my life around it completely, and tattooing became the place where art, connection, storytelling, and craftsmanship all came together for me.
Before becoming a tattoo artist, I spent years immersed in the industry through shop management before helping build and complete a traditional two year apprenticeship within an Oregon licensed tattoo school. As the school’s only student, I completed three times the state required training before becoming licensed. Now in my fourth year tattooing professionally and seventh year within the industry overall, I continue to approach tattooing as both a lifelong craft and an evolving art form.
My Work & Style
I specialize primarily in neo traditional tattooing, illustrative color work, and nature inspired imagery, though I enjoy all tattoos. Much of my work is influenced by botanicals, wildlife, folklore, antique illustration, traditional Americana tattooing, and the landscapes of the Pacific Northwest. While my style often leans neo traditional, I enjoy working across a wide variety of aesthetics to create tattoos that feel deeply personal to the individual wearing them.
I also have experience across a broad range of technical applications, including fine-line tattooing, blackwork, watercolor inspired techniques, color saturation, and working with more challenging placements and skin textures such as elbows, necks, hands, and other high movement areas.
My Approach
More than anything, I care deeply about the experience clients have while working with me. I believe getting tattooed should feel collaborative, comfortable, thoughtful, and genuinely personal from start to finish. I spend extra time making sure my clients feel heard, prepared, and at ease throughout the process because the experience itself matters just as much to me as the final tattoo.
I am also trained to create tattoos with longevity in mind. My goal is for each piece to look stunning the day it is finished and continue to hold beautifully over time, settling into the skin while still retaining strong composition, readability, and technical integrity. I strive for more than “good enough” in every piece and take proper application seriously, from design choices to execution.
Personality wise, I tend to bring a lot of energy, enthusiasm, and genuine excitement into what I do. I care deeply about my work and the people I create it for, and I love building an environment that feels welcoming, relaxed, and approachable. While I definitely have a little rough edge to me and a strong personality, I try to balance that with warmth, kindness, and making people feel comfortable being themselves around me. I genuinely love connecting with clients, getting excited over ideas together, and creating an experience that feels memorable in all the right ways.
Outside the Studio
Outside of tattooing, much of my life revolves around traditional art and the natural world. I spend my time painting, crafting handmade watercolors from natural and foraged pigments, carving block prints, tending to houseplants and aquariums, and finding inspiration in the details, textures, and landscapes around me. I’m endlessly inspired by the intersection of art, nature, history, symbolism, and craftsmanship, and those influences naturally find their way into my work.
Growth & Philosophy
I am always pushing myself to learn more, refine my craft, and challenge myself with every tattoo I take on. I love expanding my skillset, trying new things, and continuing to grow as an artist. I never feel intimidated by a challenge, and I approach each piece as an opportunity to become better, sharper, and more intentional in my work while creating tattoos that people feel deeply connected to for years to come.
Health & Safety
Client safety is equally important to me. I am CPR trained, bloodborne pathogen trained, and practice universal precautions for every client, every time. I go above and beyond to maintain a clean, sanitary, and professional tattoo environment so clients can feel confident, cared for, and safe throughout their appointment.
