FAQ

  • How do I book an appointment?

Great question! This is where it all begins. My booking process is as follows:

    • Custom Tattoos - Please send me a request (click the “booking” tab here on the site) and fill out the form. I will then send you a booking link you can use to book your appointment!

    • Flash/Pre-Drawn designs: You can book your preffered design right off the site. Just click the “flash” tab

    • Walk-In’s: I am not currently taking walk-ins. However, I sometimes have time for same-day or last-minute appointments, so don’t hesitate to reach out!

  • Do I need a consultation?

Consultations are not always needed, but I always offer them! I love connecting with people and hearing their ideas. Meeting someone, hearing their story, and seeing where they want to place their tattoo is very helpful for me in designing a piece that is uniquely “you.” Consultations are also great if you are on the fence about your tattoo idea & would like professional input.

I may request a prospective client to come in to the studio for a consultation before booking larger pieces (such as sleeves, backpieces, etc), or if I’d like to assess someone’s skin (scars/etc) or existing work for cover-up’s and re-works.

If you are unsure if your idea needs a consultation, feel free to reach out - I’m happy to give you feedback.

  • How much do you charge?

    My hourly rate is $160

Pieces under 3 hours are priced at a flat rate. My minimum is $100.

A $100 non-refundable deposit is required to book & goes toward your total

Flash designs are pre-priced based on size. Model program pieces are discounted and vary case-by-case

When you send a request for a custom tattoo, I will give an estimate of how much time I think your piece will take, so you can be prepared :)

  • What should I bring with me?

Your comfort is important! Please come prepared, well-rested, fed, and sober. Please come alone (unless we have discussed a guest in advance). Make sure you have:

    • Valid Photo ID

    • Water/snacks/drinks

    • Your skin in good condition - no sunburns, cuts/scrapes, active flares or heavy topical products. Exfoliation of the skin a few days before the appointment is fine, but no recent irritation. shaving is optional. If you feel you may accidentally nick your skin, just leave the shaving to me!

    • Loose clothing (preferably dark color as ink can stain) that can access the area to be tattooed. Privacy blinds are always available.

    • Headphones if you are bringing phone/tablet/gaming

    • Entertainment such as books/reading material. I am happy if my client wants to zone out and have their own entertainment, but also happy to chat.

    • Please no crafts/activities that require you to move/shift your body as staying still is very important

    • Scents don’t bother me but please be mindful of other clients & artists in a shared space (no heavy cologne, please)

    • Hopefully this is obvious, but please shower before your appointment and have on clean clothes!

  • Will I get to see the art before my tattoo?

For flash designs - yes! The designs are ready to for you to view and book. Feel free to choose a size and color palette you’d like for your design. Otherwise, the designs are as-is and major changes are not allowed. if you like a particular flash design but would like significant changes, feel free to send me a custom tattoo request! :)

For custom designs - No. No designs are sent or viewable before the appointment. However, I offer free consultations where we can look at reference images together, come up with a design cooperatively, and try out different ideas in a low-pressure environment. I like my clients to feel as if they can ask any questions they may have, and feel comfortable with me and my design process before booking.

On the day of the appointment, I make sure to book out a little extra time for small adjustments (small size/flow adjustments, color tweaks, etc). I ensure my client is super happy with my rendering of their idea. If a client changes their mind day-of or requires more than 15 minutes of art changes, I charge $75/hr if time allows, or require a new appointment and deposit.

Each artist has a different design process that works for them - and this is mine! My custom art is done at home on my own time (often times 1-15 hours per client), and this allows us to focus on tattooing the day of the appointment. I urge prospective clients to review my portfolio before booking and have confidence in my ability to render their idea to their satisfaction before booking my time. I put my all into my clients and their designs - please show up with the same commitment by being sure of what you want before booking!

  • Can I use numbing cream?

Yes, but you will need to do so on your own time before your appointment. I DO NOT provide or apply numbing products during the session.

If you choose to use a numbing product, it is your responsibility to purchase, apply and research it.

Some products may cause serious or adverse reactions, affect healing, or change the texture of your skin during the tattoo. I am not liable for any adverse effects from products used and my free touch up policy is void if you use a numbing product.

  • Do you do cover/ups or reworks?

Yes! I will most likely require an in-person consultation and will be very honest with my clients when it comes to my assessment of their cover-up/rework request & the chances of success. Each person and each cover is unique, and each person’s goals for their project are different - so feel free to reach out!

  • Where are you located?

321 SE 6th st. Suite #203 Grants Pass, OR 97526

I am located upstairs on the second floor. After booking, your confirmation email will have detailed directions, pictures, and parking information.

  • What if I need to reschedule?

I allow up to 2 reschedules with 72-hour notice. A third reschedule is an automatic cancellation.

    Cancellation = forfeiture of deposit

Changing an appointment with less than 72hr notice, for any reason, even under circumstances of severe weather/illness etc, results in an automatic cancellation. This is because it does not allow me enough time to fill the spot that was reserved. Under extreme circumstances I may allow transferring 50% of a deposit (on a case by case scenario).
